The Whale

The Whale is the artist name of the pianist Hossein Alipour Bosra from Iran. With his release Woman, Life, Freedom, he tries to get more attention for the sad situation in his country and the protests by the Iranian people as a result of it. The slogan Woman, Life, Freedom, became a rallying cry during the protests which occurred in Iran as a response to the death of Mahsa Amini. The neoclassical pieces which are part of his release Woman, Life, Freedom are written for all united Iranian people, Iranian women in particular and women under threat worldwide.
